THE SPOTUrban Peak has been providing critical services to youth in Denver for 20 years. The impact of Urban Peak can be seen throughout the community in immeasurable ways. Over the years, Urban Peak has continued to expand in response to the growing numbers and diverse needs of youth in Denver. This fall we will be conducting a needs assessment to evaluate all essential services provided. In light of this, the current programming at the Spot will be suspended to evaluate services to meet the needs of our mission and most importantly, our young people. Please be aware that the Spot is not closing, We are restructuring programs offered at the Spot and reorganizing staff. On October 20th a different hours and program offering was made available through Street Outreach at the Spot. This includes breakfast for youth, drop-in services, access to Education & Employment programs such as Job Readiness Training and GED classes, and poetry classes offered through Art from Ashes. Most importantly, we will continue our commitment to serve the youth at the Spot. More details on additional programming will be available as we continue this transition.
